About

Grace for Moms was founded by two moms in need of a tremendous amount of grace. While navigating their paths of infertility and multiple pregnancy losses, Jessica Wolstenholm and Kristy Chowning cultivated a deep friendship on the foundation of grace and shared experience. Several years into their mothering journey, they discovered the need for a place that moms and moms-to-be can come to share their stories and offer each other camaraderie, support and advice - always covered in grace. Every one of us comes from a different background, complete with differing circumstances and preferences. Motherhood is not one size fits all. Our hope is that you will feel at home here at GraceforMoms.com - comfortable enough to share your story and be encouraged by others along your journey.

I am a former working professional, now amateur stay-at-home mom trying to learn my new gig. I write, feed and play with my 2 kiddos and try to take care of our haven so my amazing husband can feel loved and cared for when he comes home every night. Most days upon his arrival however, I beg him to watch the children while I have a moment to myself (and usually at that time, dinner hasn't even been started). I love Jesus and his amazing grace. For the past few years I've been completely transformed by the deep realization that without grace we have nothing. If I can't extend it, how can I expect it? You will not find 'perfect' in my heart, my home or on this blog. . .but you will find GRACE. Visit my other blog The Pregnancy Companion for a community of expecting, trying to conceive and new moms.

While struggling to become a mom for over 5 years, I began blogging to share my journey. My dream came true when my daughter was born in 2007. At that time, I left my profession as a nurse practitioner to fully embrace the role that I fought for. It was then that I realized the real journey began. Within a span of 3 1/2 years, I was blessed with three incredible miracles, Savannah, Caleb, and Daniel. Being a mom is the most challenging and most rewarding role of my life. I am leaning into God's wisdom and grace more than ever before. I don't claim to be an expert of anything, but I have many interests and I love learning. I mostly enjoy creating a home and making memories. This journey of motherhood is messy and beautiful all at the same time. I hope you will join us as we continue to discover what it really means to be covered by His never ending grace.
